This magnesium-coil framing nailer from Porter-Cable is a rugged, impressively lightweight piece of equipment, ideal for framers who want the capacity that a coil system offers. The magnesium housing is several pounds lighter than regular models but still offers the durability you'd expect from a job site nailer. Since coil nailers are commonly used for repetitious tasks, a lighter tool is a big plus--especially if you're going to wield it for an entire eight-hour day.
